This year we partied at Amy's, it was basically her turn to cook. We all had a blast, it was a great way to ring in the new year ... family, friends, a few drinks and a game of Cranium, what else could we possibly ask for?

Amy served us some great snacks and chocolate martinis

Lots of exciting stuff will be happening over the new year. Our MacAulay clan is coming from the West how exciting! They are coming down for a visit and for "the wedding of the year" (no pressure guys), but also the new year brings JJ's Nato trip. We've been stocking up on wood incase of power outages, putting up gates on the stairs since little Joeye will be crawling everywhere, perhaps even walking by the time he gets home. So much to do to prepare for a very lonely six months. Then again what's six months apart out of a whole lifetime we'll have together .. gotta look at the up side!

Comments:
Looks like New Year's was a lot of fun...you can never go wrong with chocolate martinis! So do the girls go to daycare when JJ goes on his trip? Aaron keeps talking about getting a Phillipino nanny, it's hard to say if he's serious or not...although if I ever decide to start working outside of home I'd definitely hire a maid!
