Try this at home ...

Someone mentioned a very common pregnancy thing the other day that took me off guard, she said

"When you look down do you see your toes"

Of course I replied with "yes, I stick my butt and see my toes" (definetly not my bikini line, but my toes yes, can someone suggest a good waxing place .. and no not Brazilian Mom!)

Then she says

"No, don't stick out your butt, stand straight, can you still see your toes"

This is what confuses me, and should any pregnant person or half decent bustedly like woman (and no Amy I'm not saying you specifically)

So I replied "If I stand up straight I can't see anything past my tits!"

99 Days to go ....

Ahh atleast we've made it to the double digits. I wish JJ would hurry home and carry me around, I have to say I'm just tired of carrying my own butt with me on a daily basis. I can't even imagine what I am going to do when I get bigger or heavier for that matter.

JJ is still away, as sad as it is atleast he can go to Old Navy Maternity and get me some undies. Last trip he bought me one pack of cute ones and two packs of the old Granny Style ones .. what was he thinking? On his behalf I will stick up for him and say he did buy me quite a few other cute items. It sucks that all we have is Thyme Maternity and Motherhood to shop at here in Halifax. I often wonder where all the other pregnant people are getting their clothes at? I mean these two stores always seem to have the exact same stuff .. so nobody's buying it obviously, and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only pregnant person down this way? Somebody help me .. what are all the pregnant people wearing? Ohh yes and there is the Roots Outlet store in Bayers Lake that has a maternity section but come on I don't want to see myself in stretchy pants every day of the week and I'm pretty sure nobody else does either.

Well it has finally happened. It's not like I didn't know it was going to happen .. well maybe I was thinking it wouldn't happen to me. The bellybutton is now almost flat with the rest of my very protruding belly (notice I did not say large). Also, in the past five minutes or so my belly button piercing has just started to turn red AGAIN. It cracks me up, just today I was telling someone that I had won this fight with the doc. When I told my doc at the beginning of my pregnancy I was keeping my piercing she kinda laughed and said she hadn't seen anyone be able to keep theirs for the whole nine months .. and of course there I go thinking I am the exception to the rule again. I was going to post pictures of my very red belly ring, mostly for JJ to see, but then I stopped myself (you can thank me later). I realized the pictures of me in my underwear were probably one step further in our relationship than anyone wanted to go as it was ...

Hmm have I mentioned I packed on six pounds at my last doctors check-up .. probably not since I am still trying to convince you all I'm still sleek and slim! I am .. really I am you should see me .. I almost disappear when I turn sideways .. I mean forward!

New Pic - 25 weeks and 3 days, but who's counting

A post for JJ while he is away ...

To remind you of the good times...

The times when we were warmer (or atleast I was warmer, I'm sure you are warm in the Bahamas!)...

The fun times when I could drink too...

The times when we were skinnier...

The times when your pants were longer (I think you're right, it looks like you may have grown)...

Miss you babe ... hurry home!

... and he's off to sea again

Daddy kisses Baby Grape before going

I would say I almost feel bad for JJ because he's had to go out to sea again but 5 days in the Bahamas just doesn't seem like such a bad thing to me, even though I'm sure he'll be likely sea sick the whole way there.

Is it me or am I getting bigger? Just seems like the last few weeks I've really popped right out there, or maybe it was the bright lights and the big mirrors some moron put up in the dressing room of the maternity store. I mean bright lights like that can point out cellulite like you wouldn't believe.

About 16 more weeks to go, but who's counting!

Risky Pics to Follow

Well not all that risky really. If you've seen me in my bikini pictures in Jamaica I was wearing less .. then again I was carrying around this belly or big butt with me either.

Try not to mind the dust on the mirror, I promise to clean it for the next set of pics!

Oh and for the record I really don't think I'm as big as everyone keeps telling me. I mean come on people do you really think it is smart to keep telling the hormonal lady not to mention has a few pounds on you that she's FAT!

Quote of the Day

From April or Ablow as some of us know her ...

"There's nothing like a good virus to get the family together"

Is the coast clear yet? Can I come out and play again?

Still Living and Growing

Wow I can't believe how long it's been since I've updated .. am I ever getting slack in my old age.

I still have not taken any more pictures since my "Underwear Camera-Happy Escapade". Since now JJ is back at sea again I have either the option of trying to do them myself again .. probably not a good idea ... or bribbing Amy with maybe McDonalds perhaps and see if I can get her to do them.

We have started reading Goodnight Moon to the baby. Apparently if you read to the baby daily while it is in the womb, once the baby arrives it can be soothed by reading this same book. So every night we are all taking turns reading the book to "Baby Grape". *** Notice the hyperlink I put in all on my own***

Finally everyone has felt the baby move. JJ, Amy and the girls have each had their tummy at either feeling and/or watching the baby thump me. Ok we've all seen it .. you can stop now!
