Quick update
Just a quick note to let everyone know that I am indeed still pregnant. JJ stops and squishes my belly like a tomatoe and tells me I'm ripe now and that it's time to let him out. It seems as though the doctor agrees with him also. As of yesterday they've started to notice protein in my urine. Not totally uncommon at the end of the pregnancy and since my blood pressure really hasn't been too bad we are not going to be alarmed. However with my ridiculously swollen shrek feet and the protein meaning my kidneys are no longer enjoying this pregnancy I am scheduled to see the doc to do a stretch and sweep on Friday morning. The doc seems convinced that will have the boy sliding out quickly. From what she can tell he is engaged and ready to come, he just needs a little natural coaxing.
I am trying to hold him in for you Auntie Brenda for a birthday buddy but it's not looking good! I'll try and keep my legs crossed 'till Sunday!

Eek, good luck with that...
Joseph was also quite cozy and needed a bit of help (8 days overdue) and I had the pleasure of a teabag of hormones placed on my cervix.
Stretch & sweep or wearing a teabag...not sure which is easier - guess they'll both get the job done though, right?

all i can say is that Im glad Jonathan didnt really need all that much help...he was 1 week early...but I did need some drugs to get my contractions going...and then boy was it fast...2 hours later I was pushing and less than an hour after that...out popped a baby! im thinking of you.
