We're doing okay

You know it's funny how quickly we forget that one tiny little baby can turn everything upside down. Not to mention we decided that this very busy time in our lives was the perfect time to start potty training .. yes yes we love to punish ourselves. Actually Joeye is doing better than expected considering she's as contrary and stuborn as her father, actually he admits the contrary part is his but insists the stuborness comes from me ... I don't know 'bout that! The little guy gets his weewee snipped on Friday and they make the parents go here .. which seems cruel to me, but I'm just going to keep my eyes closed I mean they can't force me to watch right? I can't even hold my babies for needles I'm not quite sure how I'm going to survive this. They do freeze them and everything here so atleast I know he won't be in any pain, but he's most definitely going to cry because he hates having his diaper off (so not like his Dad, hehe).

I got a couple pics of the house I thought I'd throw up also since I've been so slack doing that too. Let's hope this is the start to getting back on track!

Ensuite bath vanity that I designed, so very proud of myself, our jacuzzi tub in the ensuite as well, we also have a shower stall and our bedroom with new king bed with a Joeye in it ...

From the living room looking into the dining room, you can see the corner of my new red couch to match the colour in the entry way and the new leather coffee table type storage thingy we bought ...

Don't mind the disaster type look, we're still working at unpacking and cleaning up ... but notice my nice new stainless steel appliances and the island is still missing it's stools .. we're working on that too ...

Comments:
Wowsers! Your house is gorg and is SO you and JJ!
Looks great! I'm sure Josh's little snip-snip will go as planned - just close your eyes and it will be done before you know it! Love the pics!

Oopsy! I posted as Mom and not myself - not sure wowsers is part of Mom's vocab...

Haha I was thinking wowzers was a little odd for her .... LOL

Jonathans snip-snip was a bit scary for me to...Thank goodness Les was nearby to help me change his diaper...It was wrapped up in gauze and looked so sore...but he didnt seem to notice...I just kinda freaked me out...Jonathan is a bit mis-shaped from the plastic ring taking so long to work its self off...but the Doc said that it could take up to a year to correct itself...Im sure Joshua will be just fine...

OK...is Holy Sh*t more my style????

Wow...you certainly have thrown some great colours into your new digs! Love the stainless in the kitchen!

Good luck with the trim on Friday!

Sorry that doesn't sound like you either .. Les are you logging in on your mom's account again?

Auntie Berta I see you as more shy, reserved and just not the cursing type .. perhaps you've been hiding the real you all along? Haha.

I'm looking at those pictures and I can't believe I didn't atleast hide the mess long enough for the pictures .. geez I'm so slack!

love you house, love the colors, and the kitchen. Joeye and Josh are so cute, we will see you in August the 4th, coming to visit then, can rarely wait to see you all. love to all auntie Cheryl and Uncle Paul.xoxo

Everything looks great! I am sure you are having so much fun with a newborn baby and trying to unpack. Do you get any sleep at all?

Monica...that was my comment! Yes I do slip up occasionally and let one fly!

As to colours, I wanted a red dining room, but because we are open concept, I didn't...went a taupe aka beige!!!! What a chicken sh*t I am. Now I'm trying to add some colour to my oh so boring kitchen.

Thanks for the inspiration...after all...one does need a bit of colour!
